Support — Table Ready

Ask the pit boss.

The short version of how chips, the coach, sync and your data work. Anything not covered here, email me@wesleymatlock.com — it goes straight to the person who builds the app.

Are the chips real money?

No. Every chip in Table Ready is play money. Chips can't be bought, won or cashed out, and there is no real-money gambling in the app. The stakes are the same wherever you play, which is exactly the point: practise at real table limits without a real bankroll.

I keep losing all my chips. Is there a rebuy?

Yes. You start with a $1,000 play stack and can rebuy as many times as you like, free, in any game's settings. The goal is to keep practising, not to keep a scoreboard.

What exactly does the coach do?

The coach checks every move you make against the game's strategy and explains the calls that matter. It has three modes: Strict blocks a wrong move until you make the chart play, Flag mistakes lets the wrong move through and explains it after, and Silent stays out of your hands and grades you afterwards.

On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, the explanations are written on your device and the coach answers follow-up questions. On other iPhones it falls back to notes built from the same strategy facts. Either way, the strategy engine — not the coach — decides the right play.

Does the coach send my play data anywhere?

No. Nothing about your play leaves your phone. The Apple Intelligence coach runs on Apple's on-device model. The only thing the app transmits at all is an anonymous crash report when it crashes, used to fix bugs and deleted after 90 days.

How does iCloud sync work?

Your practice history, chip count and streaks sync through your own iCloud account using a private database — no sign-up and no Table Ready account, because there isn't one. It's automatic whenever your iPhone is signed in to iCloud, and it follows you to any iPhone signed in with the same Apple ID. Settings, like coach mode and table rules, stay on each device. Settings shows whether sync is on.

If it doesn't sync right away, check that your iCloud storage has room and that your Apple ID is signed in on both devices. There's nothing else to configure.

What about my data?

It's yours, and it stays on your device. Your practice history and statistics live in an on-device store. To erase them, delete the app, and remove its iCloud copy from Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage. There are no servers of our own, no accounts, no ads and no data brokers — so there is no Table Ready database to leak. The only thing we ever receive is the anonymous crash report described above.

What do I need to run it?

An iPhone running iOS 26 or later. The Apple Intelligence coach needs an iPhone with that support (generally iPhone 15 Pro and newer, or iPhone 16 and newer); on other iPhones the app works fully with the template coach.
